Job Description

Electronics Service Engineer - Audio Technology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Electronics Service Engineer to join our team at ecruit. As an Electronics Service Engineer - Audio Technology Specialist, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining advanced professional audio equipment, including high-powered amplifiers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair high-powered amplifiers and other professional audio equipment
  • Conduct component-level fault finding with precision
  • Perform soldering, including SMD 0402 components, to a high standard
  • Use standard test equipment to troubleshoot and resolve issues
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed
  • Communicate effectively with customers to provide updates and explain technical issues
  • Collaborate with a small, dedicated team of professionals to maintain our reputation for technical excellence

The Person

  • Proven ability at component-level fault finding
  • Excellent soldering skills, SMD 0402
  • Familiar with the use of standard test equipment
  • Good electronic knowledge
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong IT skills, including knowledge of IP networks
  • Effective communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Bachelor's degree or HND in a related field or relevant work experience will be taken into consideration
  • Audio engineering certifications or relevant training is a plus
