We are seeking an experienced HR professional to join our team as an Assistant HR Adviser. This is a six-month fixed-term contract opportunity to support our HR Business Partner team in providing expert HR advice and coaching to line managers.
Main ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing proactive and consistent HR advice to managers on employee relations matters, including sickness absence and disciplinary issues.
- Supporting the development and delivery of training packages and presentations to groups.
- Communicating effectively with trade union representatives and other stakeholders.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree or equivalent level qualification in a human resources subject or equivalent level of HR knowledge gained through training and experience.
- Associate Membership of CIPD.
- Working knowledge and understanding of current employment legislation.
- Up-to-date knowledge of the content and requirements of HR issues facing the NHS.
