Key Responsibilities:

  • Dispense and issue prescriptions accurately and efficiently
  • Provide expert advice to patients and healthcare professionals on medication and treatment options
  • Work collaboratively with pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to ensure seamless pharmacy operations
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of pharmacy policies and procedures
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest medication and treatment options

Requirements:

  • Successful completion of the relevant units of pharmacy services skills NVQ level 2 (QCF) or an equivalent GPhC accredited training programme
  • Experience working as a qualified Pharmacy Dispenser, with a strong background in hospital pharmacy or community pharmacy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and colleagues
  • Proficiency in using computer systems for dispensing, stock control, and word processing
