Project Controls Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Controls Engineer to join our Transportation and Utilities business. As a key member of our Integrated Project Team, you will be responsible for leading project controls activities on low-complexity, low-risk projects.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a cross-discipline Project Controls team to ensure accurate project performance and stakeholder communication.
- Collaborate with project management to establish a robust Performance Measurement Baseline and manage change control processes.
- Define project scope through exclusions, assumptions, interfaces, and dependencies, and coordinate scope decomposition.
- Work with the Integrated Project Team to establish supplier project controls contract requirements and integrate supplier performance data.
- Build successful working relationships to perform schedule recovery planning using schedule optimisation and critical path analysis.
- Ensure scope, cost, risk, and schedule integration and alignment, and analyse performance data to provide delivery insight and facilitate delivery decisions.
- Collaborate with the Finance Team to generate Cost and Cash Estimate to Complete and Estimate At Complete profiles.
- Work with Risk Management to ensure risks are appropriately identified and managed.
- Guide Project Management in the deployment of resources in-line with the schedule.
- Establish effective project governance.
- Assure the quality, accuracy, and integrity of the Project Controls team's output.
- Identify learning opportunities to ensure continuous improvement and skills development.
- Promote learning from experience and influence process improvements.
- Contribute to the strategic regional growth of the business.
- Professional Project Controls experience in one or more sectors and in the application of at least one Project Controls discipline of Planning and Scheduling, Cost Estimation, Cost Management, Risk Management, or Reporting and their associated software/tools.
- Appreciation of the way in which the Integrated Project Controls disciplines operate.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience of working in an Integrated Project Team.
- Experience of working in the transportation and utilities sectors is desirable.
- Experience in using Project Controls software is desirable.
- The ability to travel to client sites across the Southwest as required.
