About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and creative Head of User Experience and Interface Design to lead our user experience and interface design efforts as we seek to move from a predominantly SaaS model to an in-house, fully owned and managed technology ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and implement a user-centric design strategy, creating intuitive and visually compelling interfaces.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional user experiences across our products and platforms.
  • Lead the development of a comprehensive UX/UI design strategy, incorporating user research, industry best practices, and business goals.
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and data analysis to gather insights and validate design decisions.
  • Stay informed about emerging design trends, technologies, and best practices, and advocate for their adoption to enhance our design capabilities and deliver innovative user experiences.
  • Define and implement design processes and methodologies, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and quality in all aspects of the design lifecycle.
  • Manage and mentor a team of UX/UI designers, providing guidance, support, and feedback to foster a collaborative and high-performing design culture.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of projects, including web and mobile applications.
  • Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, design thinking methodologies, and usability best practices.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, collaborating closely with product management and engineering teams to deliver iterative design solutions.
  • Familiarity with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and their impact on design implementation.
  • Proven track record of leading and managing design teams, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop talent to achieve business objectives.
  • Understanding of internationalization and localization principles, with experience designing multilingual and culturally sensitive user experiences for global audiences.
