Job Summary

As a key member of our payroll department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our payroll processes, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining accurate and timely payroll records.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise a team of payroll and pension staff to ensure the successful running of the payroll process.
  • Provide high-quality customer service to employees and stakeholders, responding to queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process payroll runs, supplementary runs, and reversals, ensuring accuracy and compliance with HMRC legislation and NHS policy.
  • Train, coach, and advise payroll team members on payroll and pension issues, including manual calculations and statutory deductions.
  • Work collaboratively with other team leaders, payroll officers, and pension officers to ensure accurate and timely payment of staff.

Requirements
