Job Title: Specialist Network Designer

At BT Group, we're seeking a highly skilled Specialist Network Designer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for delivering end-to-end technical designs that meet customer needs while considering the impact on all technical and business areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Capture detailed customer technical requirements and translate them into detailed solution designs in accordance with design methodologies.
  2. Execute technical direction and deliver optimum solution designs for customers.
  3. Review and validate new developments and in-life products and services, ensuring full integration across all aspects.
  4. Contribute to the improvement of design and delivery capabilities for end-to-end technical solutions.
  5. Deliver customer solution design engagement and statement of work creation, including any 3rd party deliverables.
  6. Execute customer migration planning and implementation.
  7. Support impact assessments and design documentation updates.
  8. Support all parties throughout the project lifecycle to determine the optimum solution design for customers.
  9. Resolve solution and service issues, lead root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and escalation.
  10. Undertake the delivery of performance and process improvements.
  11. Develop and share with the team knowledge on emerging trends and changes in customer solution design.
  12. Support the implementation of ways to improve working processes within the area of customer solution design through data analysis to identify issues and areas of improvements.
