Opportunity for a Quality Assurance Team Leader

ONYX Insight, a prominent player in the renewable energy sector, is on the lookout for a committed Quality Assurance Team Leader to become part of their forward-thinking team. This position is perfect for an experienced QA professional with a background in agile web software development, aiming to elevate their career in the renewables industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guarantee the quality, dependability, and consistency of all software offerings.
  • Oversee and coordinate testing initiatives for new functionalities and regression assessments.
  • Acquire comprehensive knowledge of the company's product suite.
  • Work closely with software team leaders to ensure timely product launches.
  • Establish and uphold testing frameworks in line with ISMS standards.
  • Distribute testing resources according to the release timeline.
  • Improve the overall testing methodology within the software division.
  • Participate in daily scrums, planning sessions, and retrospective meetings.
  • Create automated testing frameworks utilizing Playwright and Appium.
  • Guide junior testing engineers and supervise their professional growth.
  • Generate monthly performance reports and updates.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience leading a QA team.
  • Background in dynamic agile settings.
  • Expertise in both front-end and back-end testing.
  • Familiarity with tools such as GIT, Jira, and AWS.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience in software development.
  • Understanding of the wind turbine sector is advantageous.
