Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and manage the daily operations of the Reservations Department, ensuring seamless communication with the Reservations Manager and other hotel teams.
  • Delegate tasks to team members, assigning duties and preparing work schedules to ensure optimal productivity and efficiency.
  • Ensure all administrative procedures are completed accurately and in accordance with hotel guidelines, maintaining high standards of data integrity and compliance.
  • Collaborate with the Reservations Manager to develop and implement individual and departmental training plans, enhancing the skills and knowledge of team members.
  • Work closely with the Groups Team to analyze and respond to customer inquiries within brand-standard timeframes, providing timely and accurate information to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in the preparation of contracts for the leisure segment, including FIT, group allocation, and series, ensuring accurate and timely execution.
  • Contribute to the development of daily pricing and business strategies for all segments, working closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing, Reservations Manager, and Revenue Manager to maximize occupancy and ADR.
  • Prepare departmental financial and KPI results for presentation at monthly departmental meetings and weekly commercial meetings, providing valuable insights and recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years' experience in a hotel reservations team, with a strong understanding of reservations systems and processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and reasoning skills, with the ability to motivate and train team members.
  • Proficiency in Opera Cloud and Microsoft Office suite, with a strong understanding of Revenue Management principles.
