About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and hardworking Rehabilitation Assistant to join our therapy service at Royal Manchester Children's Hospital (RMCH). As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people with a range of injuries, illnesses, and complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support children and young people with their therapy goals, working under the direction of qualified therapists.
  • Undertake treatment programmes with patients as delegated by a qualified healthcare professional and report back to them.
  • Work in both inpatient and outpatient settings, adapting your communication style to meet the needs of children and young people with varying abilities.
  • Contribute to a range of daily non-clinical duties, including cleaning equipment, organizing servicing of equipment, and administration tasks.
  • Support the wider teams during planned and unplanned absences.
