Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all products and processes meet the required standards of quality, safety, efficiency, and reliability.
- Conduct thorough reviews and analyses of internal and external defects, followed by reporting and improvement initiatives.
- Drive initiatives to reduce rejects, both internally and externally, by coordinating improvement actions with cross-functional teams.
- Develop and implement plans to minimize non-conforming products in production to meet business objectives.
- Carry out regular internal quality audits to verify adherence to control plans and ensure resolution of non-conformances.
- Manage and oversee third-party reworks at customer sites, aiming to eliminate defects at the source efficiently.
- Maintain strong customer relationships through ongoing communication, support, and resolution of complaints.
- Ensure timely responses to customer issues, maintaining accurate internal and external documentation.
- Follow up on corrective actions, documenting procedures and outcomes.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, including 8D reviews and Kaizen events.
- Provide technical guidance and problem-solving support related to materials and production systems.
- Oversee supplier and subcontractor management, including certification, audits, and performance assessments.
- Collaborate closely with the Quality Assurance team to uphold ISO compliance standards.
- Prepare inspection plans, quality standards, and develop CMM programs.
- Conduct statistical analyses of product characteristics.
- Keep management informed of customer and subcontractor expectations.
- Assist in new product launches, including the preparation of necessary documentation.
Essential Qualifications:
- Degree in an engineering or technical discipline, or significant relevant experience with a commitment to personal development.
- Proficient in IT, particularly with MS Excel.
- Experience applying problem-solving techniques.
- Background in manufacturing or customer-facing roles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective presentation and negotiation capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy.
- Self-motivated and capable of contributing effectively in a team environment.
- Commitment to seeing tasks through to completion.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Familiarity with quality management systems.
- Knowledge of PFMEA, control plans, and measurement system analysis.
- Experience with statistical process control.
- Understanding of automotive manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in a second European language.
