Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled and experienced Junior/Mid-Level Competition Associate to become part of our vibrant Competition team in London. The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience in antitrust law, alongside exceptional written communication and drafting abilities. A proactive approach and the capacity to demonstrate initiative are essential. This role presents an excellent opportunity for a driven attorney to engage in high-profile cases within a prestigious firm, fostering career advancement in a supportive and challenging atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage EU and UK merger control processes;
  • Handle Article 101/Chapter 1 cases, including cartel investigations;
  • Address abuse of dominance issues under Article 102/Chapter 2;
  • Engage in competition litigation;
  • Draft, advise, and negotiate complex transactions.

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of experience in competition law;
  • Strong academic background with a proven record of success in a top-tier law firm;
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail;
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, effectively managing multiple priorities and deadlines;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building trusted relationships with clients and colleagues;
  • A proactive, client-focused mindset, committed to delivering exceptional legal services.
