We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and experienced Supported Living Manager to oversee one of our residential services in the Durham region. This specialized service empowers individuals with complex needs, autism spectrum disorders, and learning disabilities to enjoy fulfilling, joyful, and meaningful lives within high-quality community environments.

Your role will involve leading the provision of care and support to our clients. You should be a seasoned learning disability/autism specialist capable of creating structured communication programs, personalized support plans, and effective behavior management strategies. Collaboration with families and other professionals will be essential, as will your ability to supervise and mentor a team of staff members. You will be instrumental in delivering consistent, individualized services that align with the preferences and needs of each individual.

Ideal candidates will possess prior experience, knowledge, and a solid understanding of working with individuals who have complex needs, learning disabilities, and autism. Proficiency in assessment and support planning is required, utilizing various methods such as communication pathways and positive behavior support techniques. You will be responsible for effectively managing and deploying staff to meet the needs of service users, demonstrating excellent communication skills in both verbal and written forms. A hands-on approach is necessary, as you will be expected to role model and mentor your team. A relevant social care qualification is mandatory (RNLD, BASW, DipSW Diploma Level 5). Applicants must hold a clean and valid driving license and have access to a vehicle.
