About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Spark Scala Engineer to join our team at Axiom Software Solutions Limited. As a key member of our Global Data Technology team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines using Apache Spark and Scala.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop data pipelines using Apache Spark and Scala
  • Work on an Enterprise-scale Cloud infrastructure and Cloud Services in one of the Clouds (GCP)
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure data quality and integrity
Requirements
  • At least 8 years of IT experience with designing and building data pipelines
  • At least 4 years of experience with designing and building data pipelines using Apache Spark and Scala
  • Proficiency in Scala and Spark, with familiarity with Python and SQL
  • Understanding of HDFS, Kafka, Hive, and cloud platforms
  • Knowledge of data warehousing, data pipelines, data modeling, and data cleansing techniques
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to communicate effectively
Good to Have
  • Familiarity with machine learning libraries, such as Spark ML
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP for data pipelines deployment
  • Knowledge of DevOps tools, such as Git, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization tools
