About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our developer productivity platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and manage automated test suites for various layers of the application stack, from the database and cloud infrastructure to frontend UI.
  • Develop and implement testing strategies that identify and surface up root causes of issues in a timely manner.
  • Identify, document, and report software defects to ensure timely resolution, continuously refining test scripts to maximize efficiency and coverage.
  • Proactively participate in code reviews, sharing insights, and contributing to our testing best practices.
  • Utilize your strong AWS knowledge to optimize and manage test environments, ensuring the seamless operation of automated testing processes.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, proposing innovative solutions to enhance our QA automation framework and testing capabilities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering, or an equivalent field.
  • Extremely strong proficiency in Typescript, unit testing, and integration testing, backed by a solid portfolio.
  • Demonstrated experience with AWS services and deployments.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, adapting quickly to shifting priorities and taking a proactive approach.
  • Strong analytical skills coupled with a creative mindset to effectively chaos engineer various systems.
  • Fluency in English is a must.
