Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Automation QA Engineer to join our Digital team. As a key member of our team, you will work alongside colleagues from across PA to deliver transformative digital solutions to today's most complex business challenges.

As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for owning and delivering on specific tasks, being the design authority, and accountable for creating solutions. You will have the support of experienced professionals within the team, who can give you guidance and help you make decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement test strategy to give clients confidence that a quality product has been delivered
  • Work with a robust technical automation framework using tools such as Cypress, Selenium, or equivalent
  • Experience of using functional testing techniques, performing accessibility testing, and using non-functional testing tools is an asset
  • Shape the quality of the project by improving test strategy, design, and implementation
  • Act as a role model for junior QA engineers

Requirements

  • QA mindset
  • Test strategy and test planning experience
  • Experience of working with test management and defect tracking tools
  • Understanding of CI/CD tools
  • Working against a branching strategy git, svn, or cvs
  • Understanding of OOP
  • Writing clean, readable, maintainable, and reusable code
