About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Estates Manager to join our team at Sainsbury's. As an Estates Manager, you will play a critical role in the proactive and effective management of our extensive property portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively manage leases and associated lease transactions to minimize property costs and maximize flexibility within the designated region.
  • Manage external consultants and internal stakeholders, including Store Managers and Regional Operation Managers, to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
  • Formulate recommendations on Landlord and Tenant matters, and build relationships with landlords and tenants to drive the best commercial settlements for Sainsbury's.
  • Oversee the implementation of internal projects impacting the Sainsbury's & Argos estate, and stay updated with market trends to inform strategic decisions.
Requirements
  • Highly knowledgeable and experienced professional with a strong background in property management.
  • Relevant property experience and ideally membership in RICS.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to use your own initiative to proactively manage the Sainsbury's & Argos portfolio.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
