About the Role

IDEX Consulting Ltd is seeking a skilled Actuarial Analyst to join our GMP Equalisation team. Our client has a unique approach to solving GMP-related problems and is looking for a technically-minded individual to join their friendly and supportive team.

As an Actuarial Analyst, you will work closely with our client to assist in equalising pensions for their scheme members. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Working with and understanding member data to inform GMP calculations
  • Reviewing complex calculations and providing expert advice to clients
  • Communicating results to client teams and supporting them throughout the project
  • Regular liaison and communication with the GMP team, client team, and other departments within IDEX Consulting Ltd
  • Opportunity to get involved in specialist research and development teams in areas that interest you
  • Training and managing more junior colleagues as they embark on their actuarial career

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A keen interest in actuarial concepts, the wider pensions industry, and financial landscape
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
