Role Summary:
We are looking for a knowledgeable and experienced Information Security Advisor to become part of our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will possess a proven history in information security consultancy and be skilled at collaborating with clients to identify and address security vulnerabilities.
This role entails working closely with clients at a senior level to enhance their information security frameworks.Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and gap analyses for clients
Provide virtual Chief Information Security Officer (vCISO) consultancy, formulating strategies to manage information security risks
Perform detailed control reviews, maturity assessments, and recommend remediation actions based on governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC) frameworks such as Cyber Essentials and ISO27001
Offer expertise on technical security governance, incident response, and security awareness training
Collaborate with Leadership, Cybersecurity, and Sales Teams to respond to proposals/projects and provide pre-sales assistance
Travel to client sites as required.
Required Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience in developing information security strategies and frameworks (vCISO consultancy experience preferred)
Exceptional communication and client management skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to non-technical audiences; experience with C-level stakeholders is advantageous
Familiarity with frameworks such as ISO27001, NIST, and Cyber Essentials/Plus
Strong grasp of information security principles, protocols, and standards
Experience managing multiple client engagements in a client-facing role
Proficiency with common information security tools and technologies, along with a solid understanding of current information security threats and mitigation strategies
