We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our dynamic team at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support.
Key Responsibilities- Work under the direction of medical and nursing staff to assist with patient care and tasks.
- Perform phlebotomy and process samples according to local and Trust policy.
- Safeguard patients' belongings and space.
- Take and record patients' observations, including temperature and skin assessment, and inform registered nurses of any changes in condition.
- NVQ level 2 or equivalent qualification in healthcare.
- Literacy and numeracy skills.
- Experience in a variety of health settings, including acute care.
- Caring and empathetic attitude.
- Organisational skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- IT and housekeeping skills.
