About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our dynamic team at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work under the direction of medical and nursing staff to assist with patient care and tasks.
  • Perform phlebotomy and process samples according to local and Trust policy.
  • Safeguard patients' belongings and space.
  • Take and record patients' observations, including temperature and skin assessment, and inform registered nurses of any changes in condition.
Requirements
  • NVQ level 2 or equivalent qualification in healthcare.
  • Literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Experience in a variety of health settings, including acute care.
  • Caring and empathetic attitude.
  • Organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • IT and housekeeping skills.
