Financial Planning and Analysis Lead

In the role of Financial Planning and Analysis Lead, you will leverage your analytical and strategic thinking skills to provide comprehensive financial performance insights across the organization. Collaborating with various departments will be essential to facilitate informed and enhanced decision-making processes.
You will play a vital role during the month-end close, generating monthly management reports that encompass budgeting and forecasting, while also analyzing discrepancies against established financial plans.
The Financial Planning and Analysis Lead will engage closely with departmental leaders to assess capital expenditure initiatives and ensure that all project expenditures are thoroughly evaluated and remain within budgetary constraints.
Key Responsibilities:
- Timely preparation of all month-end management reports, including insights on organizational performance relative to financial plans.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting cycle, managing stakeholder expectations and delivering the final budget documentation along with supporting analyses.
- Conduct regular post-investment evaluations to ensure that performance aligns with anticipated outcomes.
You should possess a professional qualification (CIMA/ACA/ACCA) and have experience in a comparable financial planning and analysis position, or possess substantial expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

Proficiency in advanced Excel and the capability to analyze large datasets will be crucial for success in this position. Experience with financial modeling is highly desirable.
