Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Management Accounts Manager in the Group's financial accounting processes and protocols.
  • Support the preparation of monthly profit and loss statements along with insightful commentary.
  • Review general ledgers and process financial transactions to aid in the creation of monthly profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
  • Collaborate with the Management Accounts Manager in controlling and reconciling balance sheets, while identifying and reporting significant movements on a monthly and year-to-date basis.
  • Prepare variance analysis for cost centers, investigating and clarifying discrepancies.
  • Conduct balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Provide necessary analysis for profit and loss expenditures and identify potential risks to the budget.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be a part-qualified accountant or hold an AAT qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with intermediate Excel proficiency.
