Job Description

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is a dynamic and expanding firm of accountants, providing a comprehensive range of services to diverse clients, from small and medium-sized enterprises to large multinational corporations. We are currently seeking to appoint a Senior Tax Consultant to join our team.

This position presents an exciting opportunity for an experienced Tax Consultant to manage an established portfolio of clients while contributing to the growth of the business.


Position Overview
  • Key role in managing tax workflows for a substantial portfolio of client accounts, ensuring commercial aspects are monitored and supported;
  • Preparation and review of tax computations and returns;
  • Overseeing work prepared by team members across various offices;
  • Leading communication with HMRC, including drafting and reviewing correspondence;
  • Building and maintaining trusted client relationships, addressing queries and resolving issues;
  • Staying updated with tax regulations and promoting knowledge sharing within the team;
  • Delegating tasks to team members, overseeing workflow and ensuring quality control;
  • Collaborating directly with Partners to advance the firm's objectives, particularly in managing the existing client base and developing new business;
  • Maintaining accurate records on the internal management system, including timesheets;
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of the firm's processes and procedures;
  • Performing any other reasonable duties as requested.

Position Requirements
  • High degree of confidence, flexibility, and enthusiasm is essential;
  • Must be CTA qualified, with relevant post-qualification experience;
  • Experience in practice covering both direct and indirect taxation matters is advantageous;
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and writing skills are required.
