Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join our dynamic team at Pro-Tax Recruitment. As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and delivering high-quality tax advice and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Management: Manage a portfolio of clients and provide sound advice and service to a wide variety of personal tax clients.
  • Compliance: Ensure that own compliance work is dealt with in accordance with the Tax Department standardization procedures.
  • Staff Development: Maintain staff tax technical standards and provide training and development opportunities to team members.
  • Review and Analysis: Review clients' portfolios and identify opportunities for higher-level reviews.
  • Collaboration: Assist partners, directors, and senior consultants with detailed and complex work on assignments when necessary.
  • Knowledge and Expertise: Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of tax legislation, HMRC practices, and current tax planning ideas.
  • Client Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, keeping them up to date with progress and engaging trust and respect.
  • Rapport Building: Build rapport with individual clients and develop a clear understanding of their expectations.

Requirements:

  • Experience in personal tax management and advice.
  • Strong knowledge of tax legislation and HMRC practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
