Location: Newcastle
Pay Rate: £29 - £32 per hour
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our dynamic team, providing support and guidance to children in care and care leavers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality support and guidance to children in care and care leavers, promoting their well-being and independence.
- Develop and implement effective care plans, working closely with children, families, and other professionals.
- Conduct thorough assessments and reviews, identifying and addressing the needs of children and young people.
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant policies, procedures, and legislation, ensuring compliance and best practice.
Requirements:
- Qualified Social Worker with a strong understanding of child care legislation and policies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple cases.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
