Position Overview:


We are excited to announce a new opportunity for a skilled Commercial Client Advisor to join our dynamic Commercial Enterprise Unit.

Your primary responsibility will be to deliver expert guidance and support to our diverse clientele. You will adeptly handle policy events while adhering to compliant procedures, ensuring that every customer interaction is conducted with professionalism and fairness.

This role involves assisting with modifications to current coverage and fostering client retention during renewal periods through the continuous enhancement of relationships and the provision of exceptional customer service.


Key Responsibilities:


Identify suitable solutions, structure, pricing, and placement strategies that align with client requirements while generating profitable business across a variety of clients.

Deliver outstanding service to clients, meticulously addressing all aspects of their insurance arrangements, advising, reviewing, arranging, and securing the necessary coverage at competitive rates.

Oversee the review and necessary actions related to policy and client information.

Maintain vigilance in daily operations to detect and mitigate potential issues, ensuring prompt remedial actions are taken when needed.

Establish and nurture effective relationships with clients, prospects, associates, insurers, and external specialists to maximize business opportunities.
Continuously enhance relationships with PIB's panel of insurers and maintain a strong presence within the insurance market.
Collaborate proactively with colleagues across the organization to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities.

Place commercial lines business within approved markets to best meet client needs, leveraging knowledge of the client, the insurance market, and industry sector propositions.

Keep clients informed of updates regarding political, regulatory, and market changes that may affect them and their businesses.
Evaluate the adequacy of coverage and the suitability of terms being offered to clients,
Coordinating with relevant departments to ensure all inquiries are resolved efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 GCSEs, Grades A-C, including English and Mathematics.
Prior experience in an Account Handling role within the insurance sector is essential.

Demonstrated client service and administrative experience, adhering to processes and systems with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail to support client service delivery.

Ability to work collaboratively within a team
Strong accuracy and attention to detail
A genuine passion for cultivating excellent working relationships with clients and colleagues
A desire to learn and develop while successfully completing your apprenticeship
An inquisitive mindset with a readiness to ask questions
Basic understanding of the insurance broking market and the role of regulation and compliance.
Organized with effective time management skills, working to established priorities.
Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with internal colleagues.
Proficient in computer use, particularly with the MS Office Suite and operational use of Acturis.
Operational proficiency in Acturis, ensuring updates are made accurately to maintain data quality standards.
