Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Microbiology Quality Assurance Consultant to collaborate closely with the Laboratory Director and Laboratory Manager to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in our stem cell laboratory. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in securing necessary licenses for tissue procurement and will support the development of treatment protocols for TIL therapy.

Key Responsibilities

The selected individual will join a dedicated team of quality assurance professionals to uphold the quality management framework for the Stem Cell Transplant Programme. Responsibilities include:

  • Leading and participating in regulatory and JACIE inspections.
  • Assisting in the onboarding of trial or licensed products as required.
  • Working towards obtaining a HTA license for tissue procurement, specifically for Oncology Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMPs).
  • Potential opportunity to serve as the designated individual for the HTA license upon acquisition.

The ideal candidate will possess strong IT capabilities, be highly organized, and demonstrate effective communication skills. Comprehensive training on our quality management software (Q-Pulse) will be provided.
