About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our team at Protocol Education. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in supporting secondary education across various schools in the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring a smooth learning environment.
  • Manage student behavior, promoting engagement and productivity.
  • Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects, adapting to the needs of students.
  • Contribute to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support students with their learning, providing guidance and feedback.
  • Assess and mark student work, providing constructive feedback.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant subject area (desirable but not essential).
  • Experience working with secondary school students in any field.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent classroom management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Passion for education and a commitment to supporting student learning.
  • Ability to deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects.
  • Ability to manage behavior and create a positive learning environment.
