About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Mechanical Manager to join our team at Salter Grange. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing projects from start to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee projects from start to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Develop and implement business operations strategies to drive growth and improve efficiency.
  • Manage project cost procurement, analysis, appraisal, and budgeting.
  • Ensure programs are agreed upon with clients and contractors before project commencement, updated as needed, and key deadlines are met.
  • Work closely with Senior Managers and Supervisors to ensure effective project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Manage and develop existing client project managers, staff, and sub-contract supply chains.
Requirements
  • 3-5+ years' experience in a similar position, ideally in the mechanical engineering industry.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) as well as attention to detail.
  • The ability to work well under pressure and hit deadlines.
  • Demonstrate the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Mechanical Engineering City and Guilds or equivalent qualification.
