About The Role

Delivering Excellence in Water Infrastructure

M Group Services is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our One MEICA Design Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the electrical engineering aspects of clean and wastewater projects within our capital delivery works program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team on projects focusing on water and wastewater M&E capital maintenance and growth initiatives.
  • Support Project Managers with technical expertise to complete design and project engineering deliverables within the Pre-Construction phase.
  • Participate in design coordination with other engineering disciplines and professionals.
  • Produce electrical schematic diagrams and documentation, including cable calculations and schedules.
  • Work closely with the electrical design lead to develop the capabilities and skills of the Electrical Design team.
  • Review specifications and designs against industry standards and specifications.
  • Adhere to quality procedures and check design approach, calculations, drawings, and documents.

Requirements:

  • Educated to degree level in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Experience in design development for clean and wastewater non-infrastructure projects is desirable.
  • Chartered or Incorporated (CEng/IEng) or working towards is desirable.
  • Strong leadership skills to occupy a leading role within Electrical design/engineering teams.
  • Ability to liaise and engage with clients and key stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work within a team environment with a dedicated approach to meet project deadlines.
  • Good written and oral communication and organizational skills.
