Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at Belcan. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for various industries, including aerospace, defense, marine, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical systems, including circuit design and electrical testing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure engineering delivery and quality
  • Apply electrical engineering knowledge and design expertise to generate electrical design solutions
  • Generate detailed designs from concept to completion
  • Address a range of engineering issues and challenges

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years' electrical design experience in a marine or offshore environment or time served with equivalent experience
  • Proficient in the use of 2D/3D CAD with electrical packages (Foran or NX preferred)
  • Experience of Cable Routing
  • Understanding of cable segregation, noise requirements, and electrical testing
  • A knowledge of overall electrical system design basics of circuit design / understanding of diagnostics to be able to understand down to component level
