Job Title: Behaviour Support Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Behaviour Support Coordinator to join our team at Beechwood College, a specialist education service for Autistic individuals.

About the Role

The Behaviour Support Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring that all areas within Beechwood College have continual access to a member of staff whose role it is to ensure adherence to person centred plans, including Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) plans. The successful candidate will work either in our education team or on one of our residential homes attached to the college, working predominantly in a support worker role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and implement PBS plans to ensure person centred outcomes
  • Conduct observations and psychometric outcome measures to inform support plans
  • Support therapeutic interventions and co-facilitate CBT group therapy
  • Work alongside the whole clinical team, including our Clinical Psychologist
  • Embodiment of the clinical psychology ethos, being a guide and advisor for all staff
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have an interest in and commitment to the practice of clinical psychology. Previous experience in working in services for people with Autism is an advantage, as is any experience in working with people with a learning disability, challenging behaviour and positive behaviour support.

Please note that the residential Behaviour Support Coordinator Role will include a shift pattern – Day/Night and weekend 12 hour shifts.
