Finatal is collaborating with a prominent Private Equity-backed SaaS organization that delivers a comprehensive suite of software solutions to Financial Institutions. The role of Treasury Manager is essential for the ongoing growth as the company expands internationally through acquisitions. This position offers the opportunity to establish the treasury function from the ground up, implementing top-tier controls and processes that meet Private Equity standards.

Reporting directly to the CFO, this position is a key addition to the finance team. The ideal candidate will spearhead treasury-specific projects and initiatives throughout the organization. Core responsibilities encompass managing the legal team, acting as the primary liaison with banking institutions, and overseeing debt and covenant reporting. The successful candidate will be expected to work independently, demonstrate strong communication skills, and possess a dynamic, self-motivated approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and nurture relationships with key internal stakeholders to ensure the treasury function aligns with broader organizational goals.
  • Lead treasury-specific projects and initiatives across the organization.
  • Oversee and optimize multiple bank accounts and payroll processes, managing relationships with various banks, ensuring compliance with international banking regulations, and streamlining the number of bank accounts for enhanced efficiency.
  • Participate in and lead strategic projects to support treasury initiatives, including system implementations, process automation, and integration of newly acquired entities.
  • Identify and implement enhancements to improve treasury processes and operations.
  • Collaborate with legal and tax experts to manage intercompany arrangements that optimize cash flows and address tax implications.
  • Secure and maintain comprehensive group insurance across all operational jurisdictions to mitigate risks.
  • Monitor and manage the organization’s banking relationships and liquidity, including revolving credit facilities.
  • Oversee tracking and reporting related to public bonds, including modeling and monitoring covenant obligations.
  • Manage foreign currency exposure and related payments.
  • Forecast short-term, medium-term, and long-term funding and hedging requirements.

Qualifications:

  1. Must be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or a Qualified Treasury Professional (AMCT).
  2. Experience managing a Treasury Function within an international organization.
  3. Experience with private equity is advantageous.
  4. Strong understanding of treasury accounting, including foreign exchange, liquidity, and cash flow management.
  5. Familiarity with various financial instruments.
  6. Comprehensive knowledge of financial markets and debt instruments.
  7. Experience managing banking relationships and covenants.
  8. Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
  9. A collaborative team player with the ability to communicate effectively across multiple parties.
  10. Experience with NetSuite is a plus.
