We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at South West London and St Georges Mental Health NHS Trust. As a Project Manager - Family Placement, you will play a key role in the delivery of our innovative locality-based service improvement programme, EMHIP.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the placement of host families and working closely with the Wandsworth Home Treatment Team and associated IRH's to ensure a safe and effective care plan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit and engage host families, working with community organisations and the public.
- Support and supervise host families, ensuring they are equipped to provide a safe and supportive environment for service users.
- Monitor and facilitate the scheme's progression, promoting it within mental health services and allied agencies.
- Develop and implement policies, processes, and improvement schemes using project management tools and methodologies.
- Collect, maintain, and monitor relevant data and placement information, ensuring it is consistently collected and monitored.
- Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and benefits realisation metrics, with thorough risk management practices in place.
- Develop robust project plans, identify key risks and issues, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Post Graduate Diploma or Project Management qualification, or equivalent.
- Experience of service planning and delivery, preferably in health or social care.
- Experience of managing staff, volunteers, and service budgets.
- Ability to analyse data and write reports to a high standard.
- Ability to use Excel and Word.
- Understanding and awareness of African-Caribbean/African community with lived experience in the UK.
- Able to relate to a diverse community and respect differences among service users and across the professional network.
