Job Title: Logistics Finance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Finance Specialist to join our team at Hovis Ltd. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in supporting the Senior Supply Chain Finance Manager in managing the reporting and forecasting processes within the logistics and third-party logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Senior Supply Chain Finance Manager in managing the reporting and forecasting processes within the logistics and third-party logistics operations.
  • Drive performance through insight and analysis, working closely with site operational teams to create value.
  • Provide financial inputs to the logistics projects team, communicating with operational teams to build strong relationships and cross-functional working.
  • Analyse data sets to measure and assess risks and opportunities for the logistics function.
  • Present financial results to non-finance stakeholders, demonstrating ability and confidence.
Requirements:
  • Part-qualified or studying towards an accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
  • Confident user of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to travel to sites when required.
  • Previous experience in a finance supply chain role, preferably in FMCG or manufacturing.
