Senior Quality Assurance Manager

About the Role:
The Senior Quality Engineer will play a key role in supporting the Quality Assurance activities of Jackson Hogg Ltd, a leading company in the industry. This position will involve maintaining quality systems, standards, and customer performance metrics.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage the Quality Review and Control (QRQC) activity and related Performance Metrics (PPM) reduction in line with business activity plan targets.
- Provide key customer liaison to communicate concern countermeasures in agreed timescales.
- Coordinate the daily scheduled workload of the Quality Assurance department (including audits, calibration, and concern investigation).
- Stand in for the Quality Manager, when required.
- Ensure Automotive New Product Quality Planning (ANPQP) and International Automotive Task Force (IATF) 16949 documentation and standards are up to date and adhered to.
- Coordinate Quality Assurance training plans to support Quality Improvement activities.
- Manage the Quality Assurance support of continuous improvement activities such as kaizen and Process Hazard Analysis (PHA).
- Support process change activities to ensure the company's change control procedure is followed.
- Coordinate the monitoring and improvement of supplied part quality performance.
- Support new launch related activities, such as Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) ramp-up activities, Engineering Process Management System (EPMS) Management, Shipment Judgment Meetings, etc.
Requirements:
- Education: Ideally qualified to a minimum of Higher National Certificate (HNC) level in an appropriate discipline or equivalent level of experience.
- Languages: English fluent, additional language preferred.
- Experience: Ideally has experience within a similar role, gained in a fast-moving, automotive manufacturing environment.
- Self-motivated, proactive thinker, and possess excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
- Excellent understanding of all aspects of ANPQP management and the IATF 16949 systems and processes that support this.
- 5 years high-volume manufacturing experience.
- Work effectively as part of a team.
- Good IT skills (Microsoft Applications).
