Senior Configuration Manager Job Description

Proclinical Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Configuration Manager to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for the operational success and future growth of our IT systems across all global office and site locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. IT Strategy and Implementation: Manage the operational implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of an IT strategy across the group to meet business needs and future growth.
  2. IT Systems Resources: Manage IT systems resources, including recruitment and line management.
  3. Centralized IT Support: Implement and manage a proactive and effective centralized IT support team.
  4. Project Management: Manage and report on the implementation of IT system projects.
  5. Financial Management: Develop, manage, and report on financial operational expenditure, forecasts, and budgets for Global IT systems.
  6. Technical Direction: Provide technical direction and advice to project team members.
  7. Project Delivery: Lead project delivery to ensure the success of assigned projects.
  8. Security Management: Collaborate with the Information Security Team to support the implementation of effective security management and controls.
  9. Supplier Management: Lead the management of suppliers and third-party partnerships.
  10. Business System Solutions: Support the gathering of requirements, research into business system solutions, procurement, setup, configuration, and training of new business systems.
  11. Audit and Compliance: Ensure auditing and checks are carried out on a regular basis to ensure the effectiveness and compliance of the policies, procedures, and the security of our implementations in our IT systems.

Requirements:

  1. Previous experience as an IT Manager within a multi-site organization.
  2. ICT industry experience.
  3. Cisco CCNA/CCENT.
  4. Tertiary qualification in Information Technology.
