Job Title: Children's Support Worker

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Children's Support Worker to join our team at Brook Street Social Care NMR. As a key member of our residential children's services team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to children and young people in our care.

About the Role:

As a Children's Support Worker, you will work closely with our team to provide a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for children to thrive. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing individualized care and support to children with complex needs
  • Developing and implementing personalized care plans to meet the unique needs of each child
  • Working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care and support
  • Encouraging children to participate in activities that promote their physical, emotional, and educational development
  • Managing challenging behaviors and providing de-escalation techniques to ensure a safe environment
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience working with children with complex needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including days, nights, and weekends
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
