Financial Services Product Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Financial Services Product Trading Manager to join our team at The Very Group. As a key member of our Financial Services team, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing financial services offers that support trading and financial income across our Electrical, Toys, and Gifts & Beauty categories.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development of financial services offers, including credit products, to support commercial objectives and profitable activity.
- Work closely with retail trading, DCX, Marketing, and categories to develop bespoke financial services offers, including the use of future functionality.
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders across the group, including GLT members, to ensure commercial expectations are met.
- Review and challenge offers that do not meet commercial requirements, using commercial acumen to refine where possible.
- Monitor and report on portfolio performance, identify retail dependencies, risks, and opportunities.
- Plan projects and product-related initiatives in line with corporate objectives.
We are looking for a strong strategic and commercially focused individual with demonstrable experience of Financial Services (credit products) or Retail experience with FS. You will need to be passionate about implementing creative and innovative campaign strategies for our FS product mix across the categories.
You will enjoy building strong relationships across TVG with all stakeholders, not afraid to challenge the status quo and think outside the box. Your ability to analyze commercial data and identify opportunities to embed FS across Retail will be crucial.
