Warehouse Operations Leader

Shift: 13:30 - 22:00

Salary: £25,000 + Shift Allowance (Approx £4,000)

Candidate Profile
  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse environment.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse processes and protocols.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team of warehouse operatives.
  • Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the accurate, safe, and timely selection of products.
  • Proactively manage shift performance to optimize operational outcomes.
  • Ensure all vehicles are loaded and dispatched correctly and punctually.
  • Engage with the warehouse leadership team, providing necessary guidance and coaching.
  • Motivate the warehouse team and manage performance through established KPIs.
  • Lead by example, inspiring and coaching the warehouse team.
  • Collaborate with support staff and other shift managers across departments.
  • Implement and uphold all operational policies and procedures.
  • Maintain health and safety standards consistently.
  • Identify and execute operational efficiencies within the warehouse functions.
  • Address personnel matters in accordance with company policies and liaise with HR as needed.
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned by management.
