Job Title: Game Technical Lead

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Game Technical Lead to join our team at Wolverhampton Wanderers FC. As a key member of our coaching staff, you will be responsible for leading the development of our youth players and contributing to the success of our Academy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement coaching strategies to enhance the technical skills of our youth players.
  • Work closely with the Academy Manager and coaching staff to ensure a cohesive and effective coaching approach.
  • Monitor and evaluate the progress of our youth players, identifying areas for improvement and developing targeted training programs.
  • Collaborate with other coaching staff to ensure a consistent and high-quality coaching experience for all players.
  • Contribute to the development of our Academy's coaching philosophy and player pathway plan.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies, including the Premier League's Elite Player Performance Plan.

Person Specification:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within an elite football academy environment.
  • U.E.F.A - A Licence or equivalent coaching qualification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with players, coaches, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to work safely with children and/or vulnerable adults, upholding generally accepted practice when working with those participants.
