We are seeking skilled Back-End Engineers to enhance our expanding Development Community. In this position, you will play a vital role in crafting next-generation software systems that address the increasing demands of the cryptocurrency and blockchain sectors.
Since our inception in 2017, Blockchain has established a robust Institutional business, becoming a key strategic partner for major trading, investment, and mining firms in the crypto industry. We offer a range of financial products and services, including lending, OTC trading, custody, and asset management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with fellow Engineers and leadership to design and implement innovative software solutions for our global institutional operations.
- Architect, develop, and manage high-performance backend solutions.
- Enhance and optimize existing systems for improved scalability and performance.
- Participate in cross-team initiatives to uphold technology standards and ensure adherence to best software design practices.
- Stay informed about the latest advancements in blockchain and technology.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
- Proficiency with Unix-like operating systems.
- 1 to 7 years of experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Preferred experience in back-end applications related to trading.
- A strong curiosity and understanding of software engineering principles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Interest in both traditional finance and cryptocurrency markets.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Familiarity with modern backend technologies such as Python-Flask/FastAPI, JavaScript or TypeScript, SQL, and Redis.
- Willingness to learn Rust or work with it.
- Knowledge of additional technologies like CI/CD, C/C++, and Solidity is advantageous.
- Experience with cloud computing services (e.g., AWS, GCP) is a plus.
- Basic understanding of spot, futures, and options trading is beneficial.
