We are seeking a highly skilled Network and Solutions Architect to join our team at ITV. As a key member of our architecture team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the vision and strategy for our network, ensuring it is fit for purpose and supports the delivery of our data and media content.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the long-term strategy for transforming ITV's network, creating a compelling vision for the future of content and data delivery.
  • Provide network architecture and product expertise to our technology leadership and teams.
  • Work with our technology teams to plan and deliver against our strategy, ensuring we have industry-leading networks for Studios, Broadcast, and direct-to-consumer ventures.
  • Take ownership of the network architecture within Studios, Broadcast, and DTC, providing consulting to those teams.
  • Provide architectural support for our Network team and wider technology organization, including high- and low-level designs and project oversight.
  • Perform analysis and problem-solving to help our technology teams make tactical and strategic fixes and improvements.

Requirements

  • A deep understanding of network technologies, including LAN, WAN, wireless, and security, with experience in design and implementation.
  • Understanding of technologies and concepts outside of networks, particularly cloud computing, to support collaboration with other teams.
  • Understanding of broadcast and IP video delivery and streaming technologies, enabling collaboration on end-to-end broadcast solutions.
  • Experience working as a Solution Architect, consulting with technical and non-technical stakeholders to identify business requirements and opportunities.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Demonstrable experience working in project delivery and design roles within networking or architecture, ideally in a broadcast environment.
  • A personal leadership style that creates an enjoyable, high-performance culture that encourages collaboration and inspires.
