Large Language Model Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Large Language Model Engineer with substantial experience in artificial intelligence to become a vital part of our innovative team at Purple Dot Digital Limited.
The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of retraining and fine-tuning large language models (LLMs) utilizing proprietary datasets to develop advanced conversational AI systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Model Development:
Refine and enhance existing large language models (LLMs) by retraining them with proprietary datasets tailored to fulfill specific organizational needs.
Data Integration:
Collaborate with data engineers and data scientists to curate, preprocess, and seamlessly integrate company-specific data into LLMs.
Model Evaluation:
Create and implement experiments to assess model performance, accuracy, and scalability, utilizing metrics that are pertinent to the business objectives.
Optimization:
Apply model optimization strategies to enhance efficiency, minimize latency, and improve model scalability.
Collaboration:
Work alongside cross-functional teams, including product managers, data scientists, and software engineers, to ensure alignment of AI solutions with business objectives.
Deployment:
Support the deployment of LLMs into production environments, ensuring the delivery of robust and scalable AI solutions.
Qualifications:
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in AI/ML development, particularly in working with large language models (e.g., GPT, BERT, Hugging Face, etc.).
Education:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
Strong grasp of NLP techniques, including tokenization, embeddings, transformers, and attention mechanisms.
Experience in retraining and fine-tuning LLMs using extensive datasets.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure for model training and deployment.
Data Skills:
Expertise in data preprocessing, augmentation, and management of large datasets for training purposes.
Problem-Solving:
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to tackle complex AI challenges.
Communication:
Excellent communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Version Control:
Proficiency with version control systems such as Git.

Experience in retraining LLMs on various datasets
