Are you a VAT professional looking to join a dynamic and growing firm in the financial sector? Rutherford Briant, a leading Private Equity-backed Top 20 firm in London, is seeking a skilled VAT Specialist to join their expanding team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review VAT returns and annual adjustments.
- Collaborate with the wider team to assess partial exemptions.
- Prepare voluntary declarations for VAT.
- Provide expert advice on liability queries, including VAT treatment around deals and transactions, contract reviews, and more.
Requirements:
- Prior VAT or Indirect Tax experience, preferably gained in a Practice environment. Industry experience will also be considered.
- Currently operating at Assistant Manager capacity, looking for a step-up, or Manager seeking better progression routes.
- CTA or ATT Qualified.
What We Offer:
- Competitive base salary above market average - £60,000 - £80,000.
- Flexible work-from-home policy, with approximately 2 days per week in the office.
- Opportunity to own your portfolio and specialize or generalize as desired.
- Incredible progression routes, with one person advancing from Assistant Manager to Partner in 7 years.
