Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled and knowledgeable Gas Safety Operations Manager to lead the oversight and administration of gas systems and appliances within our housing portfolio.

About Us: A prominent organization in the housing sector, we are committed to providing secure, affordable, and well-maintained residences for our tenants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all gas-related maintenance, servicing, and repair operations within our housing properties.
  • Ensure adherence to all gas safety standards, regulations, and health and safety laws.
  • Develop and enforce policies and procedures for effective gas safety management.
  • Coordinate and supervise a team of gas technicians and external service providers, ensuring exceptional quality and safety standards.

Compliance and Safety:

  • Conduct regular audits and inspections of gas systems and appliances to ensure compliance and identify necessary corrective actions.
  • Respond to gas-related emergencies, ensuring swift and effective resolution.
  • Maintain comprehensive records and documentation of all gas-related activities, including safety certifications and maintenance logs.

Advisory Role: Provide expert guidance and support to various departments and stakeholders regarding gas safety issues.

Financial Management: Manage budgets and resources efficiently, ensuring cost-effective service delivery.

Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about industry advancements, regulations, and best practices to foster ongoing enhancement.

  • Demonstrated experience in a gas management capacity, ideally within the housing sector.
  • Strong leadership and management capabilities, with a proven track record of managing teams and contractors.
  • Financial proficiency, with experience in budget management and resource allocation.
