Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Account Manager - Technical Sales to join our team at Premier Technical Recruitment. As a key member of our business development team, you will be responsible for developing and growing a realistic pipeline of business from existing and new clients in the automation and robotics sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new clients to identify and recommend enhancements, modifications, or upgrades that will benefit their business and prove commercially advantageous.
- Attend customer sites to understand their current and future requirements and provide solutions that meet their needs.
- Create and maintain sales analysis sheets for each enquiry received and report results in the weekly sales meeting.
- Provide quotations for enquiries and review internally prior to sending to customers.
- Understand budgetary and timescale requirements for each enquiry and communicate regularly with customers throughout the life of the enquiry.
- Set up sales handover meetings to transfer details of the order to the technical team and support the project team and customer throughout the project life cycle.
Requirements:
- Previous sales and account management experience gained through working with automation systems, ideally in the automotive sector.
- Qualification to at least HND level or above in a relevant engineering or business-related discipline.
- Self-motivated and organized approach to making the best use of time.
- High level of commercial acumen and excellent communication skills at all levels.
- Flexibility to travel within the UK and overseas as required.
