Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Test Centre Associate at Reed in Partnership Ltd.

About the Role

As a Test Centre Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of driving theory tests to candidates. This will involve invigilating exams, checking candidate ID documents, and maintaining the integrity and security of tests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to candidates
  • Check candidate ID documents and book them in on the system
  • Maintain the integrity and security of tests
  • Supervise and invigilate tests
  • Explain the test process to candidates and address any queries
  • Review tests and test centre schedules
  • Perform daily test centre opening and closing procedures
  • Ensure the test centre meets individual candidate needs in line with the Equality Act and our approach to diversity and inclusion
  • Handle and report incidents that could impact candidate testing
Work Schedule

We offer a flexible working pattern, with the potential for part-time or occasional shifts. The Galashiels Test Centre operates once a week on a Tuesday, with infrequent Saturdays and evenings. Shifts may include mornings, afternoons, full days, and evenings.

Requirements
  • A full UK driving licence (although driving will not be required for all locations)
  • Significant experience in providing high-quality customer service
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • The ability to work under pressure to short timescales and multi-task
  • Experience in working with diverse customer groups
  • Excellent judgment and decision-making skills
  • Flexibility in working hours and days, including evenings and Saturdays
  • The ability to remain calm and deal with confrontational candidates in a professional manner
