CBSbutler is seeking a skilled Weighs Engineer to join our dynamic multidisciplinary airframe team. As a Weighs Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the optimal performance and efficiency of cutting-edge aircraft.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and carry out engineering tasks within your span of responsibility, including managing subordinate staff and ensuring the technical content of their work meets company standards.
- Develop and implement efficient engineering methods and processes to improve productivity and quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, aerodynamicists, materials specialists, manufacturing engineers, and structures engineers, to ensure seamless integration of aircraft systems.
- Provide input on the development of Weighs Engineering toolsets and processes to enhance the discipline's capability development framework.
Requirements:
- Comprehensive knowledge of aircraft structure and systems Weighs Engineering processes and methods, including early lifecycle weight, centre of gravity, and inertia property assessment.
- Relevant experience working within a Weighs Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Airframe related discipline.
- Previous experience managing staff would be advantageous.
- Degree/HND/HNC in a STEM subject or equivalent professional qualifications in terms of formal education.
