We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team in Norfolk and Waveney Neurodevelopmental group. The successful candidate will work with individuals with autism and mental health difficulties, providing intensive support and supervision to a small team.

The postholder will be responsible for creating a formulation-led care package to support service users on discharge from our intensive support offer. They will also work with other providers in the system to improve services for people with autism.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing direct work with service users and their carers and families
  • Supervising other roles in the small team
  • Working with other providers in the system to create a formulation-led care package
  • Supporting the wider CRHT in their work with people with autism

The postholder will have the opportunity to shape the pathway and model to better support people with autism. They will also be expected to return data to our commissioners on activities and patient outcomes.

We are looking for a candidate with excellent clinical skills, experience of working with individuals with autism and mental health difficulties, and a strong understanding of the needs of older adults.

The post will be supported by an experienced Consultant Psychologist who works across inpatient and CRHT services.
